Answers before you choose a component
Use these checks to avoid common mismatches in LED modules, controllers, power parts and outdoor connections.

Start with the installed system
Model labels, measurements and connection photos give a more reliable basis for selecting replacement parts than appearance alone. The answers below explain what to collect and when to ask for a compatibility check.
Is matching pixel pitch enough for a replacement module?
No. Confirm module width and height, pixel resolution, scan mode, connector pinout, mounting points and visual matching requirements.
Why can a new module look different from neighboring panels?
LED binning, calibration data, driver configuration and age can affect appearance. Share photos of the existing screen and ask about matching options.
What information is needed to replace a receiving card?
Provide the current card and sending-controller models, module resolution, HUB board, port mapping and firmware information if available.
Can a sending box be changed without remapping the screen?
A change may require configuration work. Confirm the control platform, receiver compatibility, total loading and cabinet mapping before the swap.
How do I choose a replacement LED power supply?
Match the specified output voltage, review the load and installation space, and verify input conditions and connector arrangements. An identical case shape does not prove electrical compatibility.
Are LED ribbon cables interchangeable?
Length and connector shape alone are insufficient. Check conductor count, orientation, HUB pinout and routing clearances.
Does a sealed connector make the whole display weatherproof?
No. The connector is one part of the enclosure system. Cable glands, cabinet joints, drainage and service practices also affect weather resistance.
What should be included in a parts inquiry?
Send part labels, clear front and back photos, dimensions, quantity, use environment and any available drawings or controller files.
Still unsure which part fits?
Send the available references and we can identify the remaining compatibility questions.
